SHEQ Officer
Safety:
As a prevention advisor, you assume statutory duties within the welfare domains and support the development of the safety management system. You develop procedures in line with legislation and regularly visit the workplace to check compliance and foster a strong safety culture. You carry out internal onboarding, analyze accidents and incidents, and initiate corrective actions.
Quality:
You support risk analyses and help monitor the progress of SHEQ processes such as complaint handling, document management, and action plans. You follow up on non-conformities and maintain contact with customers, suppliers, certification bodies, and official authorities. You actively participate in internal and external audits (including ISO/FSSC 22000, ISO 13485, ISO 9001, VCA-P) and assist with internal SHEQ training.
Environment:
You support the external environmental coordinator with statutory tasks such as site visits and permits. You also handle administrative follow-up to ensure files are processed smoothly and completely.
Profile:
You hold a Bachelor's degree and a Level 2 Prevention Advisor certificate. You possess relevant experience in the (petro)chemical sector or process industry and have an affinity for hazardous substances and laboratory environments. An Environmental Coordinator A or B diploma is a plus. You have experience with quality processes, speak fluent Dutch, and have a good basic knowledge of English; French is an asset. You handle information discreetly, are enthusiastic, service-oriented, proactive, and contribute to the organization's solution-oriented thinking.
