Flap discs in a wide variety of designs

The flap disc, also known as an SMT or flat flap disc, delivers an abrasive capacity several times higher than that of other tools, thanks to the fan-shaped radial arrangement of the linen abrasive flaps.

Klingspor offers the flap disc in many different versions: flat or conical and with a fibreglass or plastic backing. The conical backing discs sand with a smaller contact surface and can deliver higher material removal rates because they enable point-by-point machining. This makes conical flap discs the perfect choice for machining edges and removing weld seams.
