TruLaser Weld

Robots, lasers, processing optics, enclosed protective housing and positioners – TruLaser Weld 5000 is a turn-key system for automated laser welding. You can flexibly weld deep and strong seams or beautifully rounded, smooth seams using one system. FusionLine also enables you to connect components with gaps. The versatile system can be precisely tailored to meet your needs with different component positioners.

TruLaser Station 5005

The compact laser machine TruLaser Station 5005 offers you an affordable way into the world of laser welding. Even small and medium-sized parts can be processed in an affordable and space-saving manner. The TruLaser Station 5005 takes up no more than 1 m², including its integrated exhaust system. The degree of operator convenience, on the other hand, is great: the laser machine is available as a standing or seated workplace, with a powerful control concept that is easy and intuitive to operate.

TruLaser Cell 3000

With the compact and high-precision 5-axis laser machine TruLaser Cell 3000 you can weld and cut in two or three dimensions. In addition, the 3D laser machine is also suitable for laser metal deposition (LMD). From prototypes to large-scale series production with extensive automation, this multi-talented machine displays its superiority across the board. This applies particularly to cost-effective laser processing of small to medium-sized components with top quality.

TruLaser Cell 7040

With the TruLaser Cell Series 7040 laser system you have everything you need – regardless of whether you want to process two or three-dimensional components or tubes. You can change flexibly between cutting and welding. The modular setup of the machine, as well as the option of individual adjustment and retrofitting, enable you to optimally customise the TruLaser Cell Series 7040 to a modified production environment and to react to changing customer requirements with flexibility.

OEM Laser welding solutions

The programmable focusing optics from the PFO line are scanner optics for remote welding and cutting. Using two mirrors, the laser beam can be positioned in any specified position within the processing field or space, or be guided along any seam geometries. They can thus be welded without moving the workpiece or the focusing optics. Additionally, no shielding/assist gas is required.

Laser Metal Deposition

Laser metal deposition is a generative manufacturing method for metals. Internationally, it is generally known as "laser metal deposition", abbreviated to LMD. People also talk about "direct metal deposition" (DMD) or "direct energy deposition" (DED). The process is easy to explain. The laser creates a weld pool on the component surface. Metal powder is automatically added via a nozzle. Beads that are welded together are formed, resulting in structures on existing base bodies or entire components. The process is used in industries such as the aviation and aerospace industry, energy technology, petrochemicals, the automotive industry, as well as medical technology. TRUMPF customers benefit from a wide range of lasers and laser systems, process expertise, and services for numerous applications. This means LMD technology can also be combined with laser welding or laser cutting.

TRUMPF Laser weldseam position and geometry control

The perfect welding seam in even less time. You can reduce your reject rate with the TRUMPF seam position control. The sensor systems detect the joint gap during the welding process and control the welding position. We only use non-contact processes. Compared to tactile welding processes, this allows for a significantly higher feed rate with comparable results. For some sensor systems, we also offer a seam geometry monitor. This determines characteristic parameters of the seam which has already been welded, and monitors the quality right during the welding process. Testing software can also be used to evaluate the entire component quality on the basis of several individual seams with the help of individually adjustable rules.

TruDisk Laser with green wavelength

Green laser light for welding copper. Using a green wavelength, copper and other highly reflective materials can be welded not just efficiently, but also with high quality and great productivity, regardless of the material surface quality. Spatter formation is minimised as much as possible. At the same time, you benefit from maximum reproducibility. Whether for point or linear welding, the green laser light turns heat conduction welding and deep penetration welding with a constant welding depth into reliable processes. At TRUMPF you'll also benefit from a complete package based on our proven TruDisk disk laser technology, several laser light cable outputs, processing optics and an intelligent sensor system.

TRUMPF TRUTOOL TKA1500

he TruTool TKA 1500 edge trimmer produces chamfers with a length of 15 mm in just two operations. The result: a very good and uniform surface quality without reworking. At the same time, handling has never been easier: Adjust the chamfer height quickly and without tools and guide the machine stably and safely thanks to the ergonomic handle. The triple or quadruple-use multi-edge cutter also allows you to benefit from a high degree of economic efficiency. At the same time, the machine is very clean and emission-free.
