Best Metal Project 2026<\/strong> showcases innovative ideas and technical craftsmanship in metal. Students, artists<\/strong> and professionals<\/strong> are invited to submit their own metal creations and showcase their work to a wide audience from the sector.<\/p>\n

The entry that receives the most votes will be rewarded with an ESAB Sentinel\u2122 A70 PRO welding helmet<\/strong><\/a> and will also receive additional exposure during Welding Week \u2013 Metal \u2013 Subcontracting.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\tCreated in the spoon art style \u2014 a hobby that got out of hand and grew into a professional passion. The main ingredients of this mythical figure are stainless steel cutlery (18\/0 and 18\/10). According to legend, the phoenix rises from its own ashes every 500 years. With a wingspan of 110 cm, a body length of 80 cm and 140 knives used, each piece is welded on the inside to achieve the most realistic result possible.\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\tThis SpongeBob SquarePants was constructed last school year by the Year 5 Welding and Construction class. Sheet metal, tubes, MAG and TIG welding were used to create this lovely little piece of art. The total height is 1200 mm. \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\tI made this metal bird together with my dad using the semi-automatic machine. Sparks flew everywhere, but bit by bit it took shape. Not perfect, but entirely our own creation. It didn\u2019t just turn out to be a bird; you can put flowers in it. I gave it to my grandmother as a present, because she always looks after everyone. Now this bird can bring a bit of colour back to her garden. For me, this is more than just a school project: it\u2019s my first weld.\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
